Ben Clark
Explorer
A Telluride, Colorado local, twenty eight year old Clark is an explorer in a new generation. Leading his own expedition, he climbed the north ridge and summitted Mt. Everest at the age of twenty-three which led to a new found sense and zeal for adventures to climb unclimbed and unknown peaks in remote areas of the world. The last five years yielded first ascents in trad, sport, ice, bouldering and alpine. Clark is now searching for the next great problems for this generation of mountain aspirants, melding modern alpine free climbing with ski descents. On his 18th expedition, he will be attempting the first ski descent of 24,688’ Annapurna IV, Grade VI, 5.4, 70 degrees.
